Can you take familiars to barrows




















I didn't want so much to get to the barrows specifically, just how to get past that dog that guards that tunnel under that temple so I can explore everything east of Varrock. And the first time I fight any new bosses, I go totally empty so I don't risk anything, though I know I'm going to get my head handed to me :-p. According to the in-game map, there's a huge city just to the east of Burgh de Rott. To check ur combat level, u kill the button with 2 swords, one with the different atk styles.

And u see the combat lvl written there.. Also ur cb lvl would be around 30 im guessing.. Barrows is where u kill 2 lvl 95s, and 4 lvl s.. As you would practically need over 1 inventory of pray pots and food just to survive 1 of the 6 brothers But i ended up getting melee higher Prolly cuz mage sux for combat, unless ur on ancient spellbook, which has very strong spells, but they cost arround 1k per cast With a very low magic defence..

I'm sure "multiple trips" means multiple visits, each visit killing all 5 6 with Akrisae the Doomed brothers in one run. Ik what it means..

But what i said is, he'd need several trips worth of food, just to kill 1 bro with his stats This method is for those players who just want to have some fun however do not have very high skills. The more trips you plan on doing the more Prayer potions you will be needing. If you believe you are able to kill him with just melee then do so. Use Prayer. Before entering his crypt equip your crossbow and Range gear.

It is advisable to use Prayer. Verac — Make sure your Prayer is replenished and you have switched back to your Magic armour. Guthan and Torag — Top up your Prayer then fight them These brothers are fairly easy compared to the rest however they can deal you quite the blow.

Extra Information: If you are using Fire bolt it is strongly suggested that you bring Chaos gauntlets from the quest Family Crest as they increase the max hit of the spell to from Slayer Dart is one of the most commonly used spells when it comes to Barrows. It is rather cheap and with the only requirements being 55 Slayer and 50 Magic the average player can easily use this spell. Wearing Verac's armour is suggested due to its high Prayer bonus.

Verac —Switch back to your Magic armour, you do not need to use Prayer. Guthan and Torag —Simply fight them, they are somewhat easy.

Extra Information: The most important aspect of this set-up is the shield slot. Now when it comes to choosing from the Mage book and the God book you first have to decide which God book you want to take.

It is completely up to you which one you choose. Slayer Dart is a wonderful spell and widely used in Barrows. Although the Slayer Dart Method has been covered this one is designed for players on a budget or of a lesser level.

If you are going with the Mystic robes then it is suggested that you take more Prayer pots as you will be relying on Prayer far more than the players who use Torag armour.

Guthan and Torag — Top up your Prayer then fight them. This method is very similar to those which were previously mentioned however this time it involves the use of Guthan's armour.

Now, you may wish to have another armour as well as Guthan's however you may find it to be very heavy and you will need to rest more than normal. Use the Warspear on the crypt creatures when you are on low health. Extra Information: If your health gets low at any point simply equip the warspear. However it is recommended that you only attempt to heal your health on the crypt monsters. This method is for the more advanced players. If you are using the spell Charge with the Mace, then the most damage you can deal at once is Without Charge but with the Mace, it is You may wish to use the Guthix staff, it is your choice.

Also that you have Claws of Guthix on Auto-Cast. Dharok — Always fight Dharok first and always use Protect from Melee. Extra Information: For this method to work successfully you must first have unlocked the Claws of Guthix spell from the Mage Arena out in the Wilderness. If you have over 80 Magic and wish to use Charge which powers up God spells you must be wearing that particular cape, for this it is the Guthix cape.

Karil — Either use your Godsword of Flail to kill this Brother. Extra Information: Which Godsword you should take is discussed in the method below. However it is entirely your choice. The Godsword is a very powerful weapon but with all weapons that are very powerful, it is rather slow. If you miss then the Brothers will be able to get in an extra hit, maybe two.

Which is why this method has such high recommendations. Karil — It is advisable to use Prayer as Karil can produce some rather high hits. The most important question for this setup is obviously which Godsword? Zamorak at 18kg is far too heavy to have at Barrows. Bandos is rather cheap and a decent special but one special allow uses up the whole Special Attack bar. Nor does the Bandos godsword compare with the Armadyl or Saradomin godsword. So the Saradomin godsword is the best possible choice.

When it comes to Ahrim, you can either Range him or use your Godsword. You may need to eat. Run away and then use your other spell on him. Keep doing this until the Brother is dead.

Repeat this method on all of the Brothers. Be very wary as your ice spell might not always work. Protect from Melee is required at all times when you are facing the melee brothers. When you are going up against Karil, put Protect from Missles on. Commonly this method is not done due the high likelihood of Karil using special attacks However if this method is pulled off successfully expect to see highly fast kills.

The most diverse combat styled side to face in this Boss Battle. This side can present some tricky issues and surprising killing potentials from the Brothers with the mix of the two Ahrim and Karil spinning simultaneously. The Inciter will have to face all three styles, in which it is still suggested to pray against Melee for the first part of the fight.

In this particular rotation using Detonate is not suggested due to the fact that there is not two Melee Brothers on you. As previously explained the Inciter is suggested to move Karil for the bleeds to increase the damage and kill Karil before he uses a Special Attack.

It may be advisable to use the Guthix Staff Special Attack after Wild Magic to deal extra hard hitting damage to guarantee Karil's death. As the DPSer it may be suggested to not use chins in this rotation.

Having non-chin weapons can allow for extra damage on Karil to kill him before he uses any Specials. Due to the fact there is only one other Brother stacked it is optional and down to preference on how the Inciter may want the DPSer to do. After Karil has died, running the Melee brother and building adrenaline for Metamorphosis would help finish off the remaining Brother. As the DPSer, you will split from the Inciter after Karil and target Ahrim focusing on using basics and making him air.

Once he has aired using Onslaught on Ahrim should quickly finish him off allowing you the move onto the Melee Brother and ending the kill. In this method you will required the other side to start for you, so that your DD can work effectively and stack every single Brother on the side. Upon entering the east side of the arena you will notice there are two squares by the barrier which are dipped in allowing the player to stand there.

If the two players stand in the most west square closest to the portal in that two square area the Brothers upon spawn should align up next to you. The reason for this is because Ahrim and Karil cannot target you so the game drags them closer to you until they can attack which luckily is within melee distance.

Once this DD position is achieved and the Brothers are stacked continue to use a normal Double Chinning rotation. As always keeping an eye out for any abilities and act accordingly. In this rotation it is really flexible of what players combat style is for this side. The Inciter can using any of the three combat styles of their choice.

However they need to be aware if they choose to be Range they need to be aware of overlapping bleeds with the DPSer. One player will need to be the Inciter, who will start closer to the portal and take aggro of the three Melee Brothers. As the Inciter the best way to gain aggro of all three brothers is starting close to the portal. Once this is achieved the Inciter just needs to run around in close proximity to the DPSer making much turns as possible to keep the Melee Brothers in a running stall.

The Inciter should also be DPSing effectively as well with the only setback of not using channelled abilities. As all the three brothers are stacked together this method makes chinning very effective.
