Where is the vacancy identification number

I had to go to a career fair to get my first gov job. If you want it so bad then go to a career fair! Plus it would be stupid for people to give you an active announcement. That would mean they would increase competition for a job they want! Plus you live in DC!

There are job fairs all the time for Navy and other DoD agencies. Stop Being Stupid Sir. Why the hate You don't know me. You have made an unnecessary offensive judgment based on very limited information. What are you 13?

So, if you think it's fair to limit access to an open government internship only to graduates of certain universities, and then listen to the stuff they say about diversity, you are STUPID. And yes, I must be 13 also. And you are right, why would someone post a Vacancy ID number if they wanted the job? I guess I was thinking maybe people who have the flyer but perhaps decide to not apply, or who like to help others, as is common on this forum, might be willing to post the number.

Sincerely, Mr. Here are some I have as of today. Please feel free to add to this vacancy ID list. You must reference this number wherever it is required on all the materials you submit.

Opening Date — This is the date when the vacancy announcement was initially opened for submission of applications. Closing Date —This is the final date that applications may be submitted for consideration for an available position. All applications must be received by midnight Eastern Standard Time on the closing date. Position — This is the title of the vacancy being announced.

Series and Grade — This information indicates the pay plan, series, and grade for the available position. Promotion Potential — This information indicates if the position has the potential for promotion as well as describe the full performance level. Salary — This is the salary range for the available position.

Duty Location — This is the geographic location where the position will be filled or located. The duty location determines which locality pay chart will be used to set your pay. Major Duties — This section details the duties and responsibilities of the available position. Qualifications Required — These are the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities that are required in order for applicants to qualify for the position, such as similar experience or a related educational background.

Job vacancy announcements describe position information including the title, salary, duties, qualification requirements, closing date, and application procedures. There is no universal format for vacancy announcements: each agency creates and manages announcements independently, so you should carefully review each section. Announcements are removed from the USAJOBS Website on the closing date; therefore, you are encouraged to maintain for future reference a copy of announcements to which you apply.
